Terrain Types
Difficult Terrain
It costs 2 squares for each 1 square moved.
You can shift into difficult terrain, but it provokes opportunity attacks.
Slippery Terrain
As difficult terrain, plus you must pass a Balance check for every move action begun in the area, and upon entering the area (DC dictated by the effect: default 15). If you fail, you fall prone.
Sticky Terrain
As difficult terrain, but you must pass a Strength check for every move action begun in the area, and upon entering the area (DC dictated by the effect: default 15) in order to move at all. If you pass, you move at half speed, and if you fail, the move is canceled.
